Definition
Wind load is the pressure the wind exerts on a structure, calculated to BS EN 1991-1-4 and the UK National Annex. It is critical for tall, exposed and lightweight structures, and for rooftop installations such as solar PV.
We calculate wind loads for buildings and for rooftop and ground-mounted equipment, including to BRE Digest 489 (2014) for solar.
