What cupp, blackburn actually involves.
Fit-out work in an existing commercial unit lives or dies on the accuracy of the existing-condition drawings. What is recorded as a partition is sometimes carrying load, and what is assumed to be structural sometimes is not. The existing floor plans were produced first and the proposed layout designed against them.
Internal elevations were issued across two sheets because a fit-out is defined as much by its vertical surfaces as its plan. That level of internal detail is what allows a contractor to price accurately rather than allow for uncertainty.
A 3D model was produced alongside the drawn set, which is worth doing where a client needs to understand a scheme before committing to it.
